1.00Will a professional floor cleaning company be able to get paint off my hardwood floors?
Q.It was a water based paint and unfortunately we left it thinking we would cover with carpet but now we have to sell up and we desperately need someone to come in to clean it off. Do floor cleaning companies do this kind of work? the hardwood floors have a seal, but they are quite old... any answers loved, we are desperate! (also does anyone knows how much they charge?) thanks!
A.Why pay someone? You can get it off with a $4.00 bottle of "latex paint remover".
1.00How do I get the wax off my hardwood floor?
Q.I'm trying to get my floors cleaner, so i use cleaning supplies. But someone told me that the floor cleaners have some kind of wax that stick to the wood floor.
HOW DO I GET IT OFF!? please help!!
A.If you want to remove wax from a hardwood floor use a chemical stripper. However, unless you are planning on recoating or refinishing the floors you may not want to strip off the wax. This would make the floors look dull.
1.00How to buy a carpet cleaning machine?

Does It even matter what finish it is when it comes to floor cleaners? I mean I know I need to buy a "Hardwood Floor cleaner".
I am so confuse I do not want to ruin my new floor, and I am also hoping to get a cleaning that is not toxic.

1.00I've been doing my best to be more green minded?
Q.I've been doing my best to be more green minded?
Fortunately, today many household cleaning products exist that are better for the environment. I'm looking for a green product that is safe to use on hardwood floors that were recently refinished.
Although, the wood experts did a wonderful job I need to do a basic cleaning b/c my young child not only perfers to walk barefoot but still puts things in her mouth.
I see target sells a green hardwood floor cleaning agent. I wonder if it will mess up the finishing.
Thanks for your input.
A.My parents have hardwood throughout their house, that has been there about 12 years and still looks brand new.
My mom's cleaning routine is to "sweep" daily with a soft yarn dust mop, and weekly she cleans the floor with a bucket of warm water and vinegar and a rag. She says cleaners just leave a residue and can dull the finish. It must really work, because you can walk around in white socks and the socks are still clean.
1.00Our Laminate Flooring have become very slippery. No wax cleaners did not work. Please find a solution.?
Q.One of our contractors cleaned the flooring with furniture polish and ruined it. It has become very diffecult to walk on the laminate floor.
A.The idiot did not read the label that said furniture polish and not floor polish furniture polish not meant to be walked on laminate floor's never need any polish on them they're not made to shine they made that way so you don't slip get some laminate cleaner and keep cleaning and don't saturate the floor with liquids you will ruin that floor good luck
1.00Please, I need suggestions on the best product to clean wood flooring. Not so much for polishing as cleaning.?
Q.I have a beautiful wood floor in my home (my husband is a floor installer) he freaked out when he saw me using water and vinegar to clean it with (bit of dish soap too). He said NO WATER!! But he didn't have a good suggestion for what to use. He just said get a floor cleaner. Most floor cleaners I see are also polishes. I don't want to polish a dirty floor...right? Please help.
A.Murphys Oil Soap is what i use. You do mix it with water but it's okay if you wring out the mop well. I think so anyway...but my DH freaks out as well. I wash the wood floors only every couple of months & theyre in good shape...6 plus years now. We have a no shoes policy at home & that helps a lot. No scratches.

Floor Cleaning
Your brand new floor can begin to look dirty and stained within no time at all. Regular cleaning can help keep your floors looking reasonably clean, but can't remove every minute last particle of dust left on the floor. Over time these particles are absorbed beneath the surface where they stay, visible from above. Scrubbing with household cleaners will do nothing to clean floor grout. It will also do very little to clean certain food spills that can leave behind light stains on the floor. You need the help of a commercial floor cleaner who can clean your floor, and remove the grout and stains that ruin its appearance.
A commercial floor cleaning company will make use of special solutions and chemicals to remove stubborn stains. Cleaning floor grout is easy for these companies because of the blend of products and techniques that they use without damaging the floor. A regular floor maintenance program that works on stains and grout, besides grime removal, is an absolute necessity to retain the looks of your floors.
No matter what kind of floors you have regular floor care is an important part of maintaining the looks of your floor. Mop everyday with water, and recommended solutions. Try not to use abrasive cleaners that can damage your floors. When you find grout has settled in beneath your floors or grime is wedged in between, call a floor cleaning company to get your floor looking spanking new again.
